Zippy the Clown will be juggling and entertaining at the 2015 Washington Special Olympics Summer Games at Joint Base Lewis McChord on May 30! Be sure to say hi to the guy in teal, and good luck to all the great athletes!
I went with a completely different look today. The wife thinks I look scary, but I thought it came off great.
Looks like Kent posted a video of me. Fellow clown Scooter (or Jerry?!?!?!) did all the talking, but you can see a split second of me in the back.
I really like Angus Oblong’s clown inspired make up. It is so transformative. You can barely discern the face of the man underneath, instead focusing on the simple lines that form the cartoon expression. It’s a look that’s harried, perplexed, but well-meaning. I probably will never get a chance to do one similar to it, since I imagine it’s probably scary for kids… but, wow, what a simple and original look.

The Boeing Management Association Klown Klub has been around since 1955. Its members have included one fellow who ran away to join the circus so he could get out of an arranged marriage. The club has done many things for the community over the years, boasting a stellar record for caring and for bringing smiles to the faces of children in the Seattle area and in other parts of the world. Here are some photos of that club over the years.
